The following links will guide you through the  first several subjects in the study "Care of the Soul"

My fathers desire through the course of putting this study together was not just that pastors and people in leadership were to take on the responsibility of caring for the soul; but that we all as Christians make it a part of our everyday lives.

Think about the goals we have for our own Christian life….

What are the goals we have and how do we help one another reach those goals ?

Some say that our chief goal in life is to glorify and enjoy God forever. That is true. Scripture says that we were created for Gods glory and to proclaim his praise. (1 Cor. 10:31; Eph. 1:11-12; 1 Peter 2:9)

We exist to worship God in order to be genuine, and this worship must come from the heart, an expression of our real feelings.

How can we help others get to this point, are we even able to achieve such a task?

It is God who changes people, God who converts the soul, who leads people to repentance; who touches people with love and grace.

We can only describe God’s amazing love and grace; we can only set the right kind of examples of adoration and dedication to the Savior.… but it is God who changes the heart…

And our goal? To become more Christ like. To share the gospel. To seek and give forgiveness; to accept and love unconditionally… to open our hearts with wisdom and understanding to those in need around us. And always lifting others up in prayer. Follow God’s plan for our own lives.

To help others, we must first help ourselves . “Preventive Maintenance”  he calls it.( More on Preventive Maintenance on study page lessons 25 - 30)
